Privacy policy

What happens to your personal information.

Revised on 1 September 2026

Scope of this policy

Both burselle.com and the Beurs trading platform fall under this policy. It covers you as a site visitor and as an account holder alike.

We have aimed for plain language. If a word carries a legal sense different from its ordinary one, we explain that difference instead of taking it for granted.

Information we gather

Account data: the identity documents a regulator obliges us to keep for a verified trading account, along with your name, email address, phone number and date of birth.

Financial data: your trades, deposits and withdrawals, positions both open and closed, staking plans, plus any bank accounts, cards and wallet addresses you register as destinations.

Technical data: your browser and device type, each sign-in to your account, and a rough location from your IP address.

Preference data: theme, notification settings, display currency and display language, stored both on your account and in your browser.

Purposes of collection

Operating your account: placing orders, settling funds, paying plan returns and showing a correct balance.

Complying with the law: checking identity, screening against sanctions, keeping transaction records and, where relevant to you, reporting for tax.

Protecting your account: noticing a sign-in that seems not to be yours, and blocking any withdrawal headed to a destination you have not confirmed.

Making the product better: combined usage statistics that show us where the platform is difficult to use. Your individual positions are never examined for this.

What we never do

Personal data is not for sale. No third party has any arrangement to pay us in exchange for it.

Your trading activity is never used to take positions against you, nor given to anyone who would.

Third parties with access

The providers the platform relies on to function: market data, email delivery, cloud hosting, payment processing and identity verification. A contract binds each of them to use the data solely for the service it supplies.

Law enforcement and regulators, when a valid legal request obliges us. If we are allowed to let you know, we will.

Retention periods

Once an account is closed, its account and transaction records stay on file for the period the law sets, usually a number of years. Preference data is erased when you clear it yourself or the account is closed.

Your rights

You may ask us what data we have on you, request a copy of it, have it corrected, and have erased anything the law does not oblige us to retain.

Message support@burselle.com from the account's email address, or open the support chat within the platform.

Cookies and browser storage

Three things are saved in your browser by the site: the language you chose, your theme, and the most recent market data it displayed. Your language and theme remain until you switch them, so the page reopens just as you left it. Prices are kept only while the tab is open, so moving from page to page does not rebuild each figure from nothing, and they are discarded once the tab is closed. None of this stored data reveals who you are to anyone else.

Prices and news shown on the site

This site serves the tape, the price board, the hero card and the chart on its own. A public market-data provider supplies them to our server, which holds a single shared copy for all visitors; your browser therefore only requests them from us, and the provider never gets your IP address or connection details. No account information or anything else about you travels with those requests.

The only exception is the asset icons next to the prices. A public image service delivers them, which means your browser fetches those images from it directly. No referrer is attached, and the request reveals nothing about you beyond what any ordinary image request on the open web would.

Home-page news consists of articles from a public crypto newsroom. The site retrieves those articles and their pictures and delivers them itself, so your browser never contacts the publisher for them; every article credits its source and opens on the publisher's site only if you select it.

Updates to this policy

Any material change to this policy is announced on the site and, for account holders, sent by email as well. The date shown at the top always matches the version in force.
